We put in more energy than for work, we are...
We have more fun than kids, we are...
From a long, long time ago we were looking forward to it, we are...
People who are called Summer-Ragga-Festa-Man & Woman
Summer festival, the beginning, take me high
Ragga festival, the night where noise never ends
Summer festival, the warm light that keeps hitting and embracing us
Tonight it's a Ragga-Festival
If you dance, dance as if drowned in sound
You can't return to the beginning, keep dancing
Today is a summer festival, yukatas in all colors gather
as the drum resounds dimly
As the sun sets in the vicinity, and the darker it gets
the Japanese lanterns shine brighter
The old, young, men, women, children and I
all run fast and heat up for the beginning
of the once-in-a-year Summer-Festa Ragga-Festa
We put in energy than for work, we are...
We have more fun than kids, we are...
From a long, long time ago we were looking forward to it, we are...

Tonight it's a Ragga-Festival
If you dance, dance as if drowned in sound
You can't return to the beginning, keep dancing
If you came for the sake of dancing from afar,
carelessly sway your body while drowning in the sound
Now is not the time to return to your former self
If you understand that, keep dancing
The goldfish I scooped, the cooked rice in my hands
I wander around the neighborhood
In order to get the sense of presence,
a little bit more, I close in on the place where people gather
I run into Hyottoko* who have masks of a demon
They invite me to the festival float** while holding me tight
Shall I eat the lined apple and apricot sweets?
We put in more energy than for work, we are...
We have more fun than kids, we are...
From a long, long time ago we were looking forward to it, we are...
